A purple Huracán Tecnica shows up in Båstad

While the deliveries of the Huracan Tecnica have been running for over a year now, it is still not seen too often compared to other new cars. Whether this is because a successor to the Huracan will hit the market soon or simply because it is not as popular with customers remains to be seen.

The next-generation V10 with rear-wheel drive is designed for drivers who seek driving pleasure and lifestyle perfection both on the road and on the racetrack. The nickname "Tecnica" embodies the advanced evolution of the Huracan's technical performance and is immediately recognizable as a Huracan innovation, both externally and under the hood. The new appearance emphasizes improved aerodynamics for more power, stability, and user-friendliness, especially during shifts on the road. The engine is derived from the Huracan STO and offers a 30 CV power increase compared to the Huracan EVO rear-wheel drive (RWD). It delivers 565 Nm of torque at a maximum of 6,500 rpm and improved acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. The newly calibrated LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) system of the lightweight Tecnica, along with the finely tuned driving modes with specific suspension tuning, direct rear-wheel steering, and innovative brake cooling improvements, allows the driver to experience the perfect Huracan for any occasion. The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica utilizes its talents to deliver the best of both worlds – an incredibly versatile super sports car for both the road and the racetrack.

The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica features the 5.2-liter engine, delivering the same 640 PS of power as its STO counterpart, generating a torque of 565 Nm at 6,500 rpm, providing thrilling yet comfortable everyday rides with responsive maximum power and torque when needed. With a dry weight of 1,379 kg, the Tecnica boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 2.15 kg/CV. The increased power comes with an improved, sharper engine sound at higher revs, while the Tecnica's cockpit ensures enhanced acoustic comfort. The heart of this Huracan is the LDVI system (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata), which controls every aspect of the vehicle's dynamic behavior by integrating vehicle systems and configuring them to provide feed-forward pre-control in virtual real-time for perfect driving dynamics.
The rear-wheel-drive Tecnica is equipped with rear wheel steering with direct steering ratio and torque vectoring, along with a modified Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) and specific suspension tuning for the Tecnica. Depending on the selected driving mode – STRADA, SPORT, or CORSA – each dynamic system in the Tecnica is calibrated to respond very distinctly to the respective environment. In STRADA mode, the rear-wheel steering ensures stability and maneuverability, complemented by torque vectoring and P-TCS. The engine and transmission are tuned for comfortable everyday driving in each setting.

Interestingly, this exceptionally beautiful specimen was spotted in Båstad, Sweden. It was painted in a stunning purple hue that is truly out of the ordinary.
