We already experienced that the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is a very good car. We’ve hoped that Lamborghini would come up with a teaser of the Gallardo’s successor. But unfortunately, they have again an extra model of the Gallardo. The Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse. A car with racing DNA but still street legal.
This Gallardo is based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo and will have its debut on the IAA in Frankfurt. We probably won’t see any news about the Gallardo’s successor on the IAA. The Squadra Corse is equipped with 570 hp at 8000 rpm, right at the moment the car produces the best sound. Next to that, the wing on the back comes directly from the racing series and the hood had the racing quick-release system. The Squadra Corse weighs only 1340 kilograms, which is 70 kilograms less than the LP560-4. The low weight and the 570 hp make the car accelerate to 100 kph in 3.4 seconds. The top speed is 320 kph. Giallo Midas (yellow), Bianco Monocerus (white), Grigio Thalasso (grey) and Rosso Mars (red) are the available colours on the Squadra Corse. The interior has racing seats which can optionally be replaced by comfortable seats but a racer like this car just needs racing seats!
