Who knew that a Rolls-Royce could also be found as a pick-up variant? I'm not if many of you fellow spotters did, not did we believe that such a crazy idea would exist either, but it does exist. Between 1966 and 1980, these contraptions were built in small numbers, and because they are rare, it makes this car a very special spot. This is the first one spotted on Autogespot.
This pick-up converted Rolls-Royce is based on the Silver Shadow. The trademark Rolls-Royce grille has been kept on the Silver Shadow, a significant trait of all Rolls-Royces. Pick-ups are a very purposeful means of carrying things around, especially in the building contractual industry. The purpose of this copy, is very clear. The four wheels that are being carried at the rear, are there because this car is most likely partnered with another racing car. The wheels have been fitted with tires designed for rain, which proves useful, especially since the Eifel area regularly has the weather patterns. We are very curious about this custom made Rolls-Royce.
