Special: driving a Ferrari through Lebanon

The country of Lebanon is full of surprises for car fanatics. It’s possible to see a group of Ferraris driving in Beirut on their way to the mountains. After an interesting interview about Lebanon, the following special shows us more about this group of Ferrari friends who regularly take their cars for a ride through the mountains of Lebanon.

A few times a month, this group of friends, including some members of the Ferrari Club Lebanon, heads out to explore the roads in Lebanon. Remote roads from Beirut into the mountains. Georges G. Hayek, a fanatic Ferrari owner who loves to floor the pedal of his Ferrari 430 Scuderia, is always present during these rides. When whole Beirut is still asleep, the group is already driving to enjoy the empty roads. The group often starts at the Ferrari showroom in Beirut. A lot of new roads are built in Lebanon and together with a lot of unknown roads this results in a different route every time. From Beirut they often drive towards Zahle, Tannourine, Jezzine and some other places. When you enter the Lebanese mountains you will be stunned by the beautiful views and its beauty. It’s really unrealistic that this country looks this beautiful while more than one million refugees from the civil war in Syria can be found in this same country. Following photos and movies give us a great impression of what these rides look like!

Special thanks to Georges G. Hayek and Sami Joe Mansour
