Scoop spotted: Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7

Almost a year ago, Jaguar introduced the F-TYPE Project 7. A unique creation by Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations. A department which was founded for building special projects at Land Rover and Jaguar. The F-TYPE Project 7 was one of their first projects and this project was now spotted for the first time.

The name Project 7 is a homage to the seven victories of Jaguar in the 24 hours of Le Mans. The F-TYPE Project 7 was limited to only 250, hand built copies. Engine-wise it is the most powerful Jaguar until now. The F-TYPE Project 7 developed by Special Vehicle Operations is powered by the 5.0 V8 supercharged engine from the F-TYPE R Coupé. Thanks to some adjustments to this engine it now produces 575 hp and 680 Nm of torque. This makes the Project 7 sprint to 100 kph in 3.9 seconds and the car has a limited top speed of 300 kph.
