The heart of the Mulsanne Speed is the iconic 6.75 liter twinturbo V8. The engine is redeveloped for the Mulsanne Speed. This development results in a faster and smoother engine. The result of refining the engine is 537 hp and 1.100 Nm of torque which is already available at 1.750 rpm. Only 4.9 seconds are needed to sprint to 100 kph and the limousine has a top speed of 305 kph. Unique performance for a car this big and luxurious. The car is 13 percent more economic due to a system that shuts down cylinders when possible. More important about the Speed is a more sporty suspension than the normal Mulsanne.
The exterior can be recognized by the dark tinted mesh and chrome Speed logos. Of course it’s not too outstanding but still very elegant. The sporty, grooved exhaust tips give a deeper sound and are unique for the Speed. Bentley also introduces some new colour on the Mulsanne Speed. These colours will also be available on the normal Speed. Spectre (black with a golden and green tint), Candy Red, Camel and Marlin (blue). Four beautiful colours which make the choice for a colour even harder. The Mulsanne is already available in over 100 colours.
