We missed this brutal concept by Toyota on the Geneva Motor Show but Toyota did bring the FT-1 to New York. The FT-1 is Toyota’s vision on the future. Toyota’s Calty design studio team, based in California, is responsible for the design of this concept model. They had the mission to create the ultimate sports car. We can say that they succeeded!
A great colour, a big spoiler and a brutal front bumper already say enough. The FT-1 looks great, we can’t deny it. Let’s just hope that Toyota will produce the car and fit it with a powerful engine. The FT-1 is inspired by the Toyota 2000 GT from the sixties. Toyota already made a sporty model with the GT-86, the FT-1 is even more sporty. Powerful and sharp lines with a very long nose. The steering wheel of the car refers to the Formula 1 and the driver will have a head-up display with all the important information the driver needs. Rumors say that Toyota is going to build a new Supra based on this FT-1!
