Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 is the first Special Operations project

The production version of the F-TYPE Project 7 will be the first creation of Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations and this car will be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 26 June. The name Project 7 is a homage to the seven victories of Jaguar in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The F-TYPE Project 7 is limited to 250 handbuilt copies.

We've got more news for you. The model isn't only the most sporty model in the F-TYPE series, it's also Jaguars most powerful production model ever. The F-TYPE Project 7 is powered by a 5.0 V8 Supercharged engine from the F-TYPE R Coupé, which now produces 575 hp and 680 Nm of torque thanks to some adjustments. The sprint from zero to 100 kph takes 3.9 seconds and the top speed of this model is limited at 300 kph.

The F-TYPE Project 7 has a completely aluminum bodywork and weighs only 1.585 kilograms which reduces the weight with 80 kilograms compared with the F-TYPE V8 S Convertible. The trunk, hood, power vents in the front fenders and the mirrors are made out of carbon fiber.

The interior has two bucket seats with stitching in a diamond pattern. Optional you can order four point harnesses. Next to the finish with Alcantara, carbon fiber and aluminum every car will get a numbered plaque between the seats with the signature of designer Ian Callum.
