Bentley set a high goal for themselves. They want to build the fastest SUV. With competitors like the BMW X6 M and the Range Rover Sport SVR it will be hard but not impossible. These other cars are both powered by a V8 which produces at least 550 hp. Lucky for Bentley they still produce their W12 engine.
Bentley's target is to make the W12 more powerful than 550 hp. They will probably aim for 600 hp or more because they still want to build a luxurious car which means that the car will weigh more than its competitors. For those who want to think about the environment Bentley also offers a plug-in hybrid which can drive up to 50 kilometers completely electric. According to rumors, they will also come up with a diesel version. The diesel engine will come from Audi. It won't be the V12 TDI but probably the V8 TDI. Bentley sets some high targets, especially when you keep in mind that Lamborghini is also working on their own SUV, the Urus.
