Geneva 2016: Aston Martin DB11

Finally it's here, the long-expected successor of the Aston Martin DB9. The car was already driving around for quite a few years. The British definitely took their time for the development of this car but they do come up with a beautiful successor, the DB11.

The DB11 was already leaked but now we can show you some more photos of this car. Despite our expectations, this DB11 has a competely different character than the DB10 that was shining in the James Bond movie Spectre. We still recognize the front of an Aston Martin but the back is really something different.

In the front we find the new 5.2 liter V12 twinturbo engine. This engine now produces 600 hp and 700 Nm of torque. You can sprint to 100 kph in 3.9 seconds and the top speed is 320 kph. Shifting gears is done with an automatic eight speed gearbox with a single ZF clutch. Hopefully this gearbox is a bit faster than the one in the DB9, Vanquish and other models. The DB11 is equipped with a start-stop system and different handling modes. You can choose between GT, Sport and Sport Plus. We don't know the official prices of the DB11 yet.
