Geneva 2015: Carlsson C25 Super GT Final Edition

Bugatti shows their last Veyron in Geneva, tuning companyCarlsson brings the C25 Super GT. The extremely tuned Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is still looking for a few new owners. With the Final Edition, Carlsson says goodbye to their special model.

The C25 Super GT never brought Carlsson the succes they were hoping for. They would build 25 copies of the first series but for now it looks like Carlsson hasn't sold all these 25 copies. That's why they will bring the final series of this model to Geneva. After last year's CS50 Versailles it was about time for something new from Carlsson. The C25 Super GT has a completely carbon fiber bodywork which reduces the weight of the SL-Class with 160 kilograms. Carlsson adjusted the headlights, taillights and even the windows of the car. They did all they could to give the Super GT the special looks the customer is looking for.

In the front we find a V8 biturbo producing 450 hp but customers can also choose a more powerful V12 biturbo producing 750 hp and 1.150 Nm of torque. In China, where this will be quite a popular car every customer will probably prefer the V12. Remarkable is the fact that Carlsson says to build only 1 copy per country while this didn't work for their previous version. It takes Carlsson up to eleven months to build this car. Customers need to be very patient. It's good to know that every car is completely custom made which means that everything's possible regarding adjustments to the exterior and interior of the car.
