Despite all the stories about the Nürburgring manufacturers keep testing their cars on the famous track. One kilometer on the Nürburgring is equal to 100 kilometer on a normal road so this makes the track a perfect location to test your new models. BMW is often testing on the Nürburgring and the now started testing the BMW M4 Coupé which will be introduced in at least two years from now.
This seems like a very long time but the testing takes a lot of time and BMW wants to present quality so they will test a lot! The M4 will be presented in the beginning of 2013 but the first spyshots show us that they already started testing the car. The body comes from the 4 series but with a lot of camouflage you can’t see much of it. The interior with the shifting flippers gives away we’re dealing with a DCT gearbox. The M4 will also be available with a manual six speed gearbox. The M4 will get a straight six engine with turbo’s and it will be lighter and faster as the new M3. We still have to wait for some time but meanwhile more and more details will come up.
