Audi RS7 Piloted driving concept lost a lot of weight

Audi is working hard on their piloted driving concept. The RS7 which drove the first autonomously lap on the Hockenheimring is dieting and lost a lot of weight.

The original concept got the name Bobby and drove with a speed of 240 kph at the track of Hockenheim without a driver. Meanwhile the car got a few updates and the changed its name in Robby. The improved version of the RS7 was now tested on the Sonoma Raceway in California and it managed to do a lap on the track in 2:01.01 minutes without a driver. Next to the new livery, Robby lost up to 400 kilograms of weight. Unfortuantely Audi won't tell how they managed to do this. Hopefully we will hear more about this soon.
